The Olive Grove

The Olive Grove in Almyrida is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, with private pool and is just a 3 minute walk to the beach and numerous tavernas. The villa is on 2 levels – the Upper Ground Floor comprises lounge and kitchen, with 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom. The Lower Ground Floor is a generous sized self-contained apartment with kitchen area, large double bedroom and bathroom. The villa is accessed up steps which lead to the terrace and pool area on the left and to the right you go into the house and straight in to the lounge. This has white walls, a high wooden Cretan ceiling and traditional fireplace. There is room for sofa, chairs, TV and a small dining area. The room is light and has views out to the pool and surrounding countryside. The kitchen to the rear has sea views and is in good condition. The large bedroom area is to the right, with a double and single bed in it, but could take a second double. It is a large, bright airy room, with wardrobe and cupboards. At the rear is a decent sized shower room. The apartment is ideal for guests, or even for rental. The garden area is mainly laid to gravel for easy maintenance and has mature trees and shrubs planted around providing both splashes of colour and shade. There are olive, lemon and pomegranate trees. The pool sits in a raised, tiled area, just down from one of the terraces and is surrounded by brightly coloured shrubs and trees. There is plenty of space for sun loungers. The terrace by the pool has space for dining table and chairs, and by the lounge is a further terrace area with sea view. To the rear is a flat, paved area, presently used for hanging washing but could also be used as a shaded seating area. There is a gated driveway, garage and shaded car port area, plus additional space for parking to the front of the villa. There is also a good sized apotiki next to the garage.
